Dear Kylie,

Thanks for your letter. It was great to hear from you. I can’t believe that you want to go on a similar trip to mine, because I thought that you don’t like ecological trips to study sharks and dolphins. Where do you live? What do you do in your free time? Do you deal with ecology?

I had a fantastic time when I went on this ecological trip last month. However, I didn’t go alone, but with teenage groups, who get together to improve the local environment. Firstly, we travelled by boat and then by mini bus. When we visited the sharks and dolphins, it was a beautiful experience. Although we didn’t get too near the sharks, I really enjoyed the experience. The dolphins were friendly with us and were really very beautiful from up close. I should warn you that the hours are many and you have to get up early. However, if you’re lucky like me, you will have a fantastic experience.

If I were you, I would take a video camera with me to take photos and video of the amazing places and the marvellous endangered species. I suggest taking waterproof clothes because the weather changes are frequent, and you will get wet when you visit the dolphins. It might be a good idea to take sun protection cream, too as the weather is hot and you will be under the sun for many hours. You will also need seasickness tablets.

Give advice to some foreign friends coming to visit your family.

 Dear Philippe,

I am very happy to see you. I would like to give you some advice about the culture of my country.

First of all, you shouldn’t wear a suit and tie, when you meet my family. You should feel comfortable in my house and you don’t need to take a present. You should only shake hands with my father and kiss my mother. Αlso, you shouldn’t take your shoes off, when you enter my house. The food that we will have will be from Greek traditional cuisine. I hope you like it. 

I will wait at the airport. I believe you will arrive on time. I look forward to seeing you again!

Informal letter

Dear Julia,


How are you? I hope you are ok. I am writing to tell you my news. 

My family is very well! The children study every day all day because they have a lot of private lessons and this is very difficult. Now I will tell you about my beautiful and interesting trip to BERLIN!

I went there three  weeks ago with my friend. We went for the tourism fair, but there was also time to see interesting places. There were some museums, but there weren't any beautiful churches.

The people were friendly. Also, in Berlin there were very nice department stores where you can buy everything! There were some good restaurants with local cuisine, too. There was a huge grass area. It was very beautiful!

I am writing to tell you my news. I had some romantic adventures I want to share with you.

Some months ago I met someone at a party called Tom . Tom fell in love with me . Every day he came to my house . He bought me flowers and he gave me expensive presents . He even asked me to marry him but I said 'No' . That day Tom left my house very upset . He thought about me all the time but I wasn't interested in him .

One day , I met Tom again , but this time he was with another woman called Sue . Then I understood that I made the biggest mistake of my life . I lost Tom and then I fell in love with him .


Please write soon and tell me what I can do with Tom .

     I' m writing because I want to ask you for a favor.
First of all I want to say thank you because you make us happy with your presents and your wishes
These days I wish all people to possess anything they really want, please make my wish come true..
   Send to children around the world a lot of presents and give health and happiness to the poor people.Help the ill and  the older people to find a big hug and pure love from their relatives.Also keep away the crimes and the robberies and try to help us to find the real love .Teach us to  love each other and  drive away the pain and the bad feelings.You do anything you think necessary to be really happy.And about me ,help me to have a trip to the Rome which I want it so much  ..And I , in turn, wish you  a creative fruitful and prosperous  new year with a lot of fireworks displays ..

Roomates' troubles

Dear Troubled Roomate,

I completely understand how you feel about your roommates who are very sloppy and noisy. It's not easy for you to find the time you need to study or to relax and you also have to do all the household chores. I had the same problem with you before, (comma) so I'd like to help you with it.

First of all, (comma) you have to discuss with your roommates about that. Maybe they don't understand how you feel and how much work you have to do every day, (comma) so give them a taste of what you have to do. Secondly, if I were you, I would suggest them to dividing/ sharing the week's chores so that everyone could have the time to do whatever they want (he or she wants) and then everyone would be happy.

Also, (comma) there are some special places in which you are able to go and play music as much long and as loud as you want. These studios are designed for bands or for groups,with all the necessary equipment. Therefore, your friends could play any time of the day and you will be able to have the time you need to study for your exams.

I'm sure that if you find the right time and talk to them about your problems calmly and reasonably, they'll be convinced that that's the best solution for everyone (full stop). That could be a (good) step forward for your relationship, because as you said they are a great company, after all. I hope I've helped you and I wish that you won't have to leave home and search for other roommates.
