ONE STORY

Once upon a time in a small but pictureque village lived a man who fall in love with a beautiful and kind woman and they decided to get engaged. So everything were ready and the happy new of a pregnancy was keep the couple company,but suddenly the man felt a bad turn.

Then his wife thought that it was a good idea to visit a doctor and they did it.bWhen they visit the doctor they surprised by hearing the doctor say that he needed immediate surgery. But it was something that it was necessary to be,so they encouraged each other and the surgery have done.

And as all storybook the best end could be "live happily ever after",but unfortunately the faith
had different plans.

The young man stayed to the hospital for a long time.His wife gave birth to a beautiful girl.
And that beautiful girl baptized latest with 30 godfathers who organised to offer the money of
the baptism in the man's health restoration.

The wish of his daughter who named Agapi and the wish of all his relatives was all the people
to make a wish and ask to return the health to her father.

So I wish with all the power of my heart the dream of that family and little Agapis to come true
and to live happily ever after!!Have good strenght and positive energy.

Informal letter

Dear Kylie,

Thanks for your letter. It was great to hear from you. I can’t believe that you want to go on a similar trip to mine, because I thought that you don’t like ecological trips to study sharks and dolphins. Where do you live? What do you do in your free time? Do you deal with ecology?

I had a fantastic time when I went on this ecological trip last month. However, I didn’t go alone, but with teenage groups, who get together to improve the local environment. Firstly, we travelled by boat and then by mini bus. When we visited the sharks and dolphins, it was a beautiful experience. Although we didn’t get too near the sharks, I really enjoyed the experience. The dolphins were friendly with us and were really very beautiful from up close. I should warn you that the hours are many and you have to get up early. However, if you’re lucky like me, you will have a fantastic experience.

If I were you, I would take a video camera with me to take photos and video of the amazing places and the marvellous endangered species. I suggest taking waterproof clothes because the weather changes are frequent, and you will get wet when you visit the dolphins. It might be a good idea to take sun protection cream, too as the weather is hot and you will be under the sun for many hours. You will also need seasickness tablets.

Marvellous mobiles

      The huge rise in living standards is due to the development of technology. This development led to the facilitation of communication among people, which became easier.

      Mobile phones are useful for keeping in touch with other people when you are away from home. Moreover, most people use the mobile phone in order to connect to the internet and find information from websites or online encyclopedias. Also, it is possible for sending text messages or calling for help in an emergency. Another possible use is taking photos or watching videos or listening to music. Furthermore, it can download films. It can be used for educational purposes, for example to write on a class blog. On the other hand, the development of technology has some negative points. It might be dangerous if people use mobile phones too much or when the people use them for hours. The mobile phone can become a bad habit.

      In the future, mobile phones will be smarter because of the technological development. People will use mobile phones in cars, in homes and perhaps they will use them under the water as a waterproof camera. Also, it will be a very important part of our lives and it might be smarter with more functions.

      The future will be better with the development of technology and if people use the mobile phone wisely, they will reap the benefits.

Review of a film

    One of my favorite TV series is "Breaking Bad".This film was directed by Cilligan and it is very interesting.The story is set in North Europe.
     In this film the protagonist whose name is Mr White has got a good family. He is a good and peaceful man  and he is a professor of Chemistry.Suddenly ,the doctor announces to him  that he has got cancer  and, after that ,he decides to make drugs using his knowledge   of  chemistry ,and after that  he makes  drugs ,so he takes the risk to sell them to earn money.The thought is terrifying ,but finally he does that...And all things change.
    Although the beginning is quite slow,the film becomes more and more exciting. The film has got action and the actors are believable .There are special effects, too.
    Although the end of the series is unfortunately  unhappy   and sad ,I recommend  it to you  because it isn t  boring and also it is thought provoking. In my opinion, it is my favorite series of all the series I have seen...
  

Give advice to some foreign friends coming to visit your family.

 Dear Philippe,

I am very happy to see you. I would like to give you some advice about the culture of my country.

First of all, you shouldn’t wear a suit and tie, when you meet my family. You should feel comfortable in my house and you don’t need to take a present. You should only shake hands with my father and kiss my mother. Αlso, you shouldn’t take your shoes off, when you enter my house. The food that we will have will be from Greek traditional cuisine. I hope you like it. 

I will wait at the airport. I believe you will arrive on time. I look forward to seeing you again!

A review of a film by Catherine

       “The intouchables” is a drama film. The film is set in France the movie and speaks about friendship and social racism.

       The film was an enormous box-office hit in France. Philippe is a millionaire who was paralyzed from neck down, from an accident. Driss is a man who was a robber, from the Paris ghettos. Philippe hired Driss to take care of him. Philippe had finally found someone who was not only taking care of him, but also Driss made him happy. Philippe showed Driss how it is to live in an expensive house and how it is to have a comfortable life, while Driss showed Philippe how it is to live in the ghettos.

       The actors are very believable and have an excellent acting performance. The scenery is spectacular and interesting. The music is also quite good.

       Finally, in my opinion, the film is very interesting and suspenseful. I believe that the film isn’t boring and I would definitely recommend the film.

How are you? I hope you are ok. I am writing to tell you my news. 

My family is very well! The children study every day all day because they have a lot of private lessons and this is very difficult. Now I will tell you about my beautiful and interesting trip to BERLIN!

I went there three  weeks ago with my friend. We went for the tourism fair, but there was also time to see interesting places. There were some museums, but there weren't any beautiful churches.

The people were friendly. Also, in Berlin there were very nice department stores where you can buy everything! There were some good restaurants with local cuisine, too. There was a huge grass area. It was very beautiful!

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

There was a boy called Tom. He had an aunt , her name was Polly. Polly looked for Tom because she lost him. She found him but he tried to escape because he took some jam from the cupboard and he knew that it was bad. Polly gave to Tom a punishment. He had to paint the fence into the garden but he wanted to play with his friends. Finally Tom's friends came into the garden to help Tom and all together did the work very quickly.

 

Tom went to find his friends. Then he saw some people. He asked someone for this. There was a new family in the town. He looked at their house and saw a girl sitting at the window. Tom fell in love with the girl. He learned her name and after he walked along the street, then he found his friend called Huck. Huck had a dead cat in his hands.

 

On the same night , they went to the cemetery and buried the cat. They heard something and then hid in the tall grass. They saw a man to kill someone. They were scared and they didn't speak to anyone about this. A few days later , they went on a raft to an island. When they arrived there, they were very happy but five days later they were bored with their games.Tom returned to his house and hid. He understood that everybody in the town thought the boys were dead. He went back to his friend and he told him.

 

The boys went back to the town and hid into the church. Soon people started to come into the church. They were going to have a funeral for the boys. Suddenly , the people saw the boys. They weren't dead. A week later Potter's trial started. All people and the judge thought that Potter was guilty but Potter wasn't. Fortunately the boys knew the truth and they said into the trial the real history. Finally Potter was innocent , the boys rescued his life. (You did not explain here who Potter was.)

 

After that the boys decided to look for a treasure. On the first day , they didn't find anything. On the second day the two friends went to the haunted house. The boys found the thieves' hiding place. Then the thieves dig a hole and found an another treasure. It was gold. The thieves took the treasure and left away.

 

A few days later, Becky and Tom went to Dougla's Island. They went into the cave with candles. After that , they were lost in the cave. Then they found the thief who took the treasure. They found the hiding place. A search party looked for the children because they lost them. Finally Tom found a way out . Then the children went away from the search party and closed the entrance of the cave. The thief died after some days. After a week, Tom and Huck went to the cave again to find and take the treasure. Tom and Huck are rich now.

1. I really like restaurants,I usually go to restaurants once a month .My favourite restaurant is "earino" which means "air and mountain" in Greek.Its location is in Asites, it is a village near my village Kroussonas.It has a wonderful view and the best quality in mixed grill food, also the cutlery and the wine glasses are very clean.It has the most delicious house red wine.And when I  visit it I'll never forget to order the mixed  salad which is a very special side dish.The waiteres are very polite and the restaurant's atmosphere is friendly enough.The prices are logical.There isn't any service charge in the bill.Iwould definitely recommend it!!!!!

Some months ago I met someone at a party called Tom . Tom fell in love with me . Every day he came to my house . He bought me flowers and he gave me expensive presents . He even asked me to marry him but I said 'No' . That day Tom left my house very upset . He thought about me all the time but I wasn't interested in him .

One day , I met Tom again , but this time he was with another woman called Sue . Then I understood that I made the biggest mistake of my life . I lost Tom and then I fell in love with him .

Hector arrives at Bridget 's house , but he doesn't speak the English language very well . Nick tries to teach some English to Hector . Halloween

On Halloween, kids are putting on costumes.
They dress up as witches and ghosts.
Some kids wear masks and some kids wear make up.
On Halloween kids carve happy faces. Some kids carve spooky faces.
Kids go trick - or - treating.
They knock doors and they get candy and chocolates!!

The nightmare before Christmas

The book describes the Halloween celebration .In this story every year the dead people on 31 October celebrate the Halloween in Halloween-Town. All witches, vampires and skeletons are doing scary things that day ,but Jack who is the scariest of all he doesn 't like scaring the people any more and he is unhappy. So one day he decides to leave from the Halloween-Town for a better future .After he leaves, he discovers the Christmas-Town . In this city the people are happy and they wait for the Santa Claus to bring them presents.Suddenly he feels happy and he decides to do the same thing in Halloween-Town. He returns in his Town and he asks from the people to help him.And they do it.They kidnap the Santa Claus and they take him in scary town and Jack undertakes his position .But the nightmare before Christmas is beginning. When Jack (took-> use present simple or past simple only!) takes the sleigh and he starts to share the presents in Christmas town they are all afraid and they start to scream,because the presents which are made by witches and vampires are frightening .When Jack understands his mistake he goes back and he sets free the old man..And then the Santa Claus goes back to his place.The nightmare before Christmas ends happily for everybody. The two stars become friends and often they visit each other and they talk about their adventures, In this book the writer combines the Halloween celebration with the Christmas celebration very successfully ...

I have only one grandmother.Her name is Eyaggelia and she has got two children.Their names are Michael and Mary.Mary is my mam and she id married to Michael and they have got four children with me .Their names are John Manolis and Voula. My sister Voula is the oldest of my siblings , and she is married to John ,and they have got three children.Their names are George and Manos and the other child is a girl  and her name is Eirini.So I haven 't got aunts,I have only an uncle.His name is Michael and he is not married.
